The Malvern Hills Vineyards by foot, riding or by car
The Malvern Hills sits on the junction of three of England’s finest counties, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, all with a deep heritage in fruit and hop orchards. Now there are new activities, growing grapes and visiting vineyards. Each county is full of activities all year round, and the Malvern Hills provide outstanding walks and bike tours.
The Malvern Hills Vineyards brings together six delightful vineyards producing a wide range of top class grapes which then become a variety of still and sparkling wines. Each of the vineyards has a different story to tell, offering vineyard tours and wine tastings, and some can offer restaurants and accommodation. The offers may be different, but you will get the same warm welcome, and interesting stories from passionate vineyard owners.
Exploring the Vineyard Trail in the Malvern Hills
Three Choirs one of the oldest vineyards in England, established in 1973 and now has 75 acres of many different grape varieties. They make their own award winning wines, as well as making the wine for members of the Malvern Hills vineyards, and they provide excellent types of accommodation, with a highly appreciated restaurant. They are the southern anchor of the group.
Three smaller operations, Chase End, Bromesberrow Place, and Foxbury Fields offer tastings and tours, with each one having a unique situation at the southern end of the Hills. Indeed, Bromesberrow Place is part of the Historic Houses scheme.
As you walk, ride or drive to the North, there are multiple trails and destinations: Elgar Route, Worcestershire Way and of course the Herefordshire Beacon and Worcestershire Beacons. You will find a warm welcome and tasting at Marlbank Vineyard on the way, and then the northern vineyard at Two Beacons which has exciting plans for tours and tasting right now, and food and accommodation in the future.

At Two Beacons Vineyard, it’s in our nature to create wines that reflect the spirit of the Malvern Hills. As a family-owned vineyard, we believe in working with the land, respecting its natural rhythms, and producing wines that are as authentic as the place we call home. Our focus is on sustainable practices, preserving the environment for future generations, and sharing the simple pleasure of great wine with others.
By working closely with nature, we bring out the authentic flavours of our grapes, creating wines that tell the story of the land they come from.
